Artists who want to learn street painting can get tips from pros during two workshops.
The first event is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Dorland Mountain Arts Colony at 36701 Highway 79 South and the second for May 22 outside on Main at Mercedes Street in Old Town.
Local artist Melody Brunsting, who recently created the grapes for Temecula’s New Year’s Eve Grape Drop, will teach the first class. The second will be taught by Gayle DuRivage, who won the Street Painting Festival’s Best of Show award last year. She is an art instructor at Painted Earth, a pottery painting shop in Menifee.
People are moving to the Temecula Valley everyday and it is great to see all the new arts, entertainment and activities that come with the growth.
